Add a helper
Type their email and tap Add. They join your business when they sign in with that email.
Only the business owner can add people.
Add someone
- Tap your photo in the top corner, then Settings.
- Tap People.
- Type their email address in Email.
- Tap Add.
They show under Pending until they sign in. We send them an email saying your business added them. It uses your business name, so set that first.
How they join
There's no code and no accept button. They:
- Go to www.bartonforge.com.
- Tap Create account or Log in.
- Use the same email you added, either by email or with Google.
They're in your business the moment they sign in, and see your jobs, customers, and parts.
Pending invites
- An invite lasts 14 days. After that, add them again.
- Typed the wrong email? Tap Revoke on the pending invite, confirm, and add the right one.
- Pending invites count toward your plan's people limit until they're used or revoked.
When you can't add someone

| This business isn't subscribed. Open Billing to subscribe. | Start your trial or plan first. See Subscribe and start your free trial. |
| That person is already in this business. | They're already in. Look for them in the list. |
| That person was in this business. Tap Reactivate. | They were removed before. Find them under Inactive and tap Reactivate. |
| Can't invite this person right now. | That email is already tied to another business. They can leave that business first, or use a different email. |
The People list
The top line shows how many people you have and your plan, like 2 of 5 people · Crew.
Below Add, everyone in your business is listed with Owner or Employee. Search by name or email, and filter by All, Active, or Inactive.
