Job photos

Take or pick photos on any job, mark them Before or After, and send them to the customer.

Every job has its own camera roll, in any status.

#Add a photo

1. Open the job and scroll to Photos.
2. Tap Before or After if it's one of those. Tap it again to clear it.
3. If you want a caption, type it in Caption, like "Breaker panel".
4. Tap Take photo to use the camera, or Choose photo to pick one already on your phone.
5. If you used the camera, tap Use this photo to save it, or Cancel. Use this photo sits on the right, next to Zoom Out and Light.

The photo shows at the top of the list, newest first, 10 at a time. A Before or After tag shows above it.

#Send a photo to the customer

Show the customer the finished work, or the problem you found.

1. Under the photo, tap Send.
2. Your phone's share menu opens. Pick Messages (or Mail, WhatsApp, and so on), pick the customer, and send it.

It goes from your own phone, the same as the ready-made texts. Barton Forge doesn't send it or keep a copy of the message. If you see Photo ready. Tap Send again., tap Send once more. If your phone can't share from the browser, press and hold the photo to save it, then send it from your photos.

#Good to know

• Photos are shrunk to a sensible size before they upload, so they don't eat your data.
• A caption and a Before or After tag are set when you add the photo. They can't be edited later.
• Photos can't be deleted.
• Everyone in your business can see a job's photos.
