Add stock by barcode

Scan or type the barcode on the box, check the name, set how many, and accept. On hand goes up.

Use this for parts you bought without a receipt, or to load stock you already have. Go to Parts, then Inventory.

#Add a part

1. Tap Scan barcode and point the camera at the box barcode. Or tap Type barcode, type the numbers under the barcode, and tap Look up.
2. Check the part that comes up.
   • If you already stock it, it says how many you have and what the new total will be.
   • If it's new to your business, you'll see a Part name. That's what you'll call it. Change it if you want.
3. Set how many you're adding. It starts at 1.
4. Tap Accept.

You'll see "Added to inventory. On hand is now 6." If the camera is open, it stays open for the next box.

#If it isn't found

"Unknown item. It is not in the catalog." means we couldn't find that barcode anywhere. It can't be added by barcode. Add it from a receipt instead, where you can type the name yourself.
