Billing messages and what they mean
What each billing status means, and what still works when your business isn't subscribed.
Status on the Billing page
| You see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| This business is not subscribed. | No trial or plan yet. A new business gets a few free jobs and scans first; the blue Free to try box shows how many are used. | Start your free trial. |
| Trial is running. | You're in your free trial. | Nothing. The end date shows below it. |
| This business is subscribed. | Your plan is active. | Nothing. |
| Payment did not go through. | Your card was declined. | Tap Manage and update your card. |
| Subscription is canceled. | Your plan ended. | Tap Subscribe to come back. |
| Subscription is paused. | Billing is on hold. | Tap Manage, or send us a message. |
| This business is covered. | We've covered your business. | Nothing. |
| ... won't renew. Tap Manage to keep it. | You canceled, and it ends on that date. | Tap Manage to renew if you want to keep it. |
"This business isn't subscribed. Open Billing to subscribe."
You'll see this on a screen when you try something that needs an active trial or plan. Tap Open Billing to go straight to the Billing page. If you're a helper, ask your business owner.
"You've used all your free jobs. Open Billing to subscribe."
Your business used its free jobs. The same message comes for free customers, receipt scans, and visits. Tap Open Billing and start your trial to keep going. See Try it free before you subscribe.
When your business isn't subscribed
Nothing is deleted and nothing locks you out. You can still:
- See every job, customer, receipt, and part.
- Edit customers.
- Use parts you already stock, and add stock you've received before.
- Remove helpers.
A new business that has never subscribed can also create a few jobs, scan a few receipts, and mark a few visits for free. See Try it free before you subscribe.
Past the free ones, these need an active trial or plan:
- Creating and changing jobs, including marking them paid.
- Marking visits with Complete visit or Skip visit.
- Adding job photos.
- Reading receipts.
- Looking up barcodes we haven't seen before.
- Adding or reactivating people.
A business that had a plan and stopped paying usually has more jobs than the free ones, so it reads only until it subscribes again.
When the card works again, everything picks up where it left off. Your helpers stay in the business.
