Missing receipt quantity
Have receipt lines with no quantity start at 1, so you don't have to type it on every line.
Some supply-house receipts don't print a quantity when you bought one of something. Then every line needs a quantity typed in before you can save.
When a receipt doesn't show a quantity, use 1. fills in 1 for you.
What it does
- On: a receipt line with no quantity starts at 1 when you review it. A quantity that's on the receipt stays as printed.
- Off (the default): a line with no quantity starts blank, and you type it.
You can still change any quantity before you save. It only affects receipts. Barcode adds and Use are the same either way.
Change it
- Tap your photo in the top corner, then Settings.
- Tap Inventory.
- Flip When a receipt doesn't show a quantity, use 1.
It saves right away and applies to everyone in your business. Only the owner can change it. A receipt you already have open keeps what it had.
