Review and save a receipt

Check what the receipt says, fix names and quantities, match parts to real products, skip lines, then save to inventory.

Tap Review on a receipt card to open it. Keep the paper receipt handy to check the lines against it.

The top of the receipt

Vendor, Number, Date, Subtotal, Tax, and Total come from the receipt. Fix any that read wrong.

If the numbers don't add up, you'll see a warning, like "Line totals do not add up to the subtotal." That usually means a line is missing or misread. Check it against the receipt. You can still save.

Each line

Every line on the receipt has:

  • Name: what the receipt says. Change it to anything that makes sense to you.
  • Part name: on new parts, a short name you use, like "15A breaker". It's suggested for you. Change it if you want.
  • Qty, Unit price, and Line total.

Quantity must be more than 0 to save.

When we found the product

If the line had a barcode we matched, it says We found: and the product name.

  • Use this name: match this line to that product. Next time, scanning that barcode on Use finds the same stock.
  • Revert: go back to the name from the receipt.
  • Ignore this barcode: the match is wrong. The line is saved without it.

If you don't tap Use this name, the line still saves, as an Unverified item with the name you typed.

No barcode on the line

Some receipts only show the store's SKU. The line says No barcode on the receipt. If you have the box, type its barcode in Box barcode and tap Look up box barcode. If we find it, tap Use this name.

Skip a line

Tap Skip line for anything that isn't stock, like a fee or a pallet charge. A skipped line is kept on the receipt but doesn't go into inventory. Changed your mind? Tap Include line.

Save

When the lines look right, tap Done. That keeps your edits and takes you back to the card. It does not save the receipt yet: the card still says Not saved yet.

Now tap Save to inventory on the card. Every included line goes into stock, and the receipt goes into History with its photo.

Close throws away the edits you just made and takes you back to the card.
